I jumpstarted the celebration of DeathCare Week by making it out alive at the Hide and Seek room of Breakout Philippines. For a little millisecond over 30 minutes, I must say that my first time was not bad. I was with an awesome and competitive group. Good job, guys!

Now who says that you can't have fun while celebrating DeathCare Week?

The St. Peter DeathCare Week is a major Corporate Social Responsibility and Public Service Program of St. Peter Chapels that aims to promote awareness on DeathCare planning and preparation. Now on its 10th year, the DeathCare Week Celebration is also St. Peter Life Plan and Chapels' way of joining the entire nation in commemorating All Saints' and All Souls' days (UNDAS), which are traditionally honored events for Filipinos.

The St. Peter DeathCare Week starts on October 27 and culminates on November 2 - Araw ng Patay each year. They picked these dates because All Saints' and All Souls' Day fall within this period and it coincides with the anniversary date of the company. It is during these dates that Filipinos visit, honor and remember their departed loved ones. This is also the best time to be aware of DeathCare preparation and planning for such realities.

To emphasize the need to plan ahead, not just for one's memorial needs but all times, St. Peter Life Plan and Chapels partnered with Breakout Philippines, the country's first and premier escape room game. From October 1 to November 6, 2017, experience how it is to plan, solve and escape with St. Peter in the following Breakout rooms and branches:
  • SM North EDSA - Boogeyman and Sleep No More
  • Greenbelt 5 - Corpse Bride
  • Katipunan - Clownhouse
  • Paragon Plaza - Hide and Seek
Employees, Sales Agents and St. Peter Plan Planholders can avail Php100 off from the booking fee upon presenting their St. Peter employee ID, Sales Agent ID, Planholders Identification Card or the white copy of their St. Peter Life Plan Contract.

But not just that! Who could ever forget the PINK CASKET DISPLAYS?

Standing Pink Casket replicas will be displayed at the St. Peter Tents in selected cemeteries nationwide during the St. Peter DeathCare Week. Cemetery-goers and passersby can take photos inside the pink casket and enjoy this unique and free photo opportunity with their loved ones and friends.

Again, as part of St. Peter Life Plan and Chapels' public service offerings this Undas, they have commissioned tricycle drivers in selected areas nationwide to offer free tricycle rides for commuters going to the cemetery on October 31 and November 1, 2017. The tricycles are painted pink to keep the spirit light in the midst of Undas traffic.

The Pink Tricycles will serve the following areas:

Legaspi, Meycauayan, Tuguegarao, Calamba

Cemeteries: Bicol Memorial Park, Marilao Catholic Cemetery, Tuguegarao Public Cemetery, Catholic Cemetery, Holy Family Cemetery, Rizal Memorial Park, Holy Garden, Everest Hill Memorial Park

Laoag, Mayon, Kawit, Tacloban

Cemeteries: Laoag Public Cemetery, Manila North Cemetery, Love Memorial Park, El Reposo Cemetery

St. Peter Tents will be put up in selected cemeteries nationwide to provide assistance to Filipinos who will be traditionally spending their evenings at the cemeteries from October 31 to November 1, 2017. The tents will be in color PINK, of course, so they are easily recognizable and noticeable; you will not miss it. FREE HAND FANS and UMBRELLAS will be provided as giveaways to cemetery-goers who will take a picture of the Pink Casket and avail of St. Peter Life Plan and Chapels' products during this period.

In thanksgiving of the colorful years in the DeathCare Industry, St. Peter Life Plan and Chapels' will have a Eucharistic Celebration on October 29, 2017 (Sunday) at the Talitha Kum Healing Mass on TV which will be aired 8:00am in PTV4 (formerly NBN 4). It will be attended by employees, planholders and officers of St. Peter.

We all know that Coconut water is good for our body. More than just for hydration, it's also packed full of health benefits! Locally introduces a new line of coconut water that I'm sure you'll love. Aside from the regular Coconut water, it also comes in two exciting flavors the Locally brand is known for.
Locally Merci Buco is available in 330ml and 1 litre packs in three variants including two unique Pinoy flavors: Buco Pandan and Buco Lychee at Rustan's, Puregold, and Robinsons supermarkets. Also available in the US and the Middle East.

Locally’s Merci Buco coco water is the perfect drink for hydration. In fact, it has an average of only 40 to 50 calories across all variants and only 10 grams of sugar (for flavoured variants) and making Locally Merci Buco Organic Coconut Water variant even safe for diabetics! Locally Merci Buco is likewise free from fat, cholesterol, gluten, and GMO.

Locally Merci Buco also has electrolytes. Fitness and sports enthusiasts know for a fact that sweating it out leads to an electrolyte imbalance in the body that may affect muscle contraction and heartbeat functions. Having Locally Merci Buco coco water as a post-workout drink will replenish major electrolytes lost after you exercise.

And unlike other juice drinks that are made from concentrates, Locally Merci Buco still has the natural health benefits of coconuts, such as being a good source of potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Coco water also helps the kidneys function well and reduces high blood pressure or hypertension by improving blood circulation. It can also soothe an upset or inflamed stomach or mild gastrointestinal infections, and help regulate bowel movement.

Locally Merci Buco is the only coconut water in the Philippines certified by both the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)1 and EcoCert2 - international regulating bodies that are strict in accrediting organic products. This means that you are assured of the 100% organic drink’s quality and integrity, with ingredients grown without the use of icky stuff like pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, GMO, or ionizing radiation.
Locally is the first quirky Filipino juice line that uses home-grown fruits. The brand mirrors the unique and fun characteristics of Filipinos with its catchy word puns, namely: Mangosteenie Miney Mo, Tamarind My Bell, Dalandan It Again, Guyabano-body but You, Calamansi'z the Day, Pomelong & Lasting Love and Save the Best for Sineguelast.
