Last June 4, 2012 marked the launch of Freeway's 7th installment of its National Artist Collectors' Series and for the first time ever, Freeway honored the country's National Artist for Music in the well-loved series.

In the past years, the series featured National Artists Nick Joaquin, Ang Kiukok, Jose Garcia Villa, Ramon Valera, F. Sionil Jose, and Vicente Manansala. For the Fall 2012 Collection of the National Artist Collectors' Series, Freeway is featuring the works of National Artist for Music, Levi Celerio.

Held at The Row, Glorietta 5, Freeway gathered both fashion and music enthusiasts, media and bloggers, and the family and friends of Levi Celerio to celebrate the life and works of the Filipino music prodigy. (more photos after the break)

One of the highlights of the night was the waist bending musical performance of Levi Celerio's songs by Asia's Queen of Songs, Ms. Pilita Corrales. She even had her own version of Celerio's song in Lady Gaga's tune!

The event was hosted by former Freeway poster girl, Giselle Tongi.

Truly, it was a night spent with deep appreciation of music...

…and fashion! Here are the fashionable people who went to the launch!
