The highly anticipated Marshall Monitor is now available in the Philippines! The Monitor embodies the power and strength that is Marshall in a headphone, with hi-fi prowess and larger-than-life sound.
Its slender over-ear construction delivers superior noise isolation without the bulk. Monitor is embossed with a white script logo and black vinyl leather, evoking the spirit of those legendary vintage amps, while the heavy-duty cast metal hinges, brass accents and plug make it full-out roadworthy. The completely detachable double-ended coil cord with mic and remote can be worn on either the right or left side. The extra 3.5mm socket allows you to share your music. When you're done, fold 'em up and stow them away in the canvass carrying pouch.
Resonating with the power of live performance, Monitor produces deep bass with extended highs and natural, well-balanced mids. Its custom-made low distortion 40mm drivers cover the entire frequency range. Even at high playback levels, the sound is punchy and dynamic. With the Monitor's F.T.F. system, you can choose your own sound experience - a warmer, laid back sound, or a brighter and clearer sound.

Marshall Monitor is available at Digital Walker in the following branches: SM Aura, Cagayan de Oro, Market! Market!, Virra Mall, Abreeza, Alabang Town Center, SM Cebu, Eastwood, Magnolia, SM Mall of Asia, Subic and Trinoma.

"We've always had an opinion on fashion and style and its connection to Filipinos. But this time, a much bolder move in bridging the gap between international and local fashion scene. A shirt is not just a shirt; it is a link to one's lifestyle. And being confident with that lifestyle is what matters, and this is where Penshoppe comes in, offering wide gamut of products with a global aesthetic." - Jeff Bascon, Penshoppe's Brand Director

I have a newfound respect to the brand. And with what you've presented at the Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2013, Jeff, you did not disappoint. Congratulations!

Divided into three distinct segments, Penshoppe's Holiday 2013 collection featured carefully constructed garments and innovative designs that push the boundaries of modernity and freshness, and explores the dichotomy between tradition and novelty.

Opening the show was Camo Punk, a collection bursting with attitude.

Utilizing denim, flat knits, burnout jersey, leather, and coated twill for bottoms, the line-up boasts an edgy mix of pullovers, studded tees, and leather pieces, among others.

It actually never crossed my mind nor have I considered it that something as intense as the color red and light as the sky's color will go well together. It would be like mixing fire with water — or so I thought. But doing so in the clear sense of the word, the water will overwhelm the fire and clearly, that's the case here.

I'm starting a new look series on my blog where I'm gonna copy someone's style.

It's more convenient for me that way since I don't need to talk much about why I'm wearing this, where I wore that 'coz honestly? I'm getting tired of talking. (To be really, really honest? I'm just lazy. Hoho.)

Literally! That's what I have been doing for the past couple of weeks. You see I just transferred my office to a more convenient and better place and it's customary that whenever I do that, I also transfer to a new house. I know, I'm weird. But I want you to know that I'm all settled now. Well, sort of.

One thing that I didn't passed on is the opportunity to take part in the whole moving process. It felt great to sweat it all out with all the carrying and placing and arranging and, you get the idea. I'm not the type who devotes time to exercise but I found out that for every movement I do with my body, not necessarily exercise activities, it contributes to my well-being fitness-wise. That's what I learned at the MOVE store launch.

Conceptualized by the same team responsible for the award-winning RUNNR specialty store chain, MOVE aims to change the way people approach health and fitness. Inspired by the quote from Aristotle, "Life is Movement," Quorum President Toby Claudio found himself with a burning desire to change lives by simply getting people to move to stay fit. To do that, MOVE fitness lifestyle store offers its customers a goal-based approach called the "MOVE BODY PROJECT" to their store experience.
The Move Body Project starts off with a free full-body composition analysis using a state-of-the-art machine previously available only in hospitals.
Then MOVE's fitness consultants assist customers in identifying their state of health and help them mark the starting point of their journey to better fitness. That's what we are doing in the following photos.

Good news to us fans of Korean brand Basic House! Their third store (and the most accessible!) is now open at SM Megamall!

And to celebrate, I along with some of Manila's fashionable online peeps, were invited at their store opening to spend the afternoon shopping and more! It rained cupcakes, ice cream (Korean, of course!) and Basic House gift certificates! And that's on top of the 20% off on regular items that was offered to guests exclusively on that day only. And oh, there was a KPop Flash Mob too! Watch it HERE.

Congratulations Basic House and RSSI!

It's a double HT for you today.

Starting with how I looked like yesterday at the most awesome and coolest music festival of the year, Wanderland. #sober
Ray-Ban wayfarers
Nick Automatic shirt
SM Accessories bracelets
Topman pants and shoes
Brought a backpack for a change. Pa-hipster lang I know but that's how I survived the event with all my gadgets, spare change and a quarter of my house in it.

And this is how my Crumpler Proud Stash woke up today. It got pimped!
The other HT refers to the contest mechanics of The Crumpler Takeover which I mentioned several posts ago. Since we're on the topic of survival, if you want your bag to last this school year (and the next…and the next...), get the latest Crumpler bag, the Proud Stash! It not only boasts of the same quality which the brand is known for but it also comes at a more affordable price! For more color choices, click HERE.

Now if you're feeling lucky, why not join #TheCrumplerTakeOver and get a chance to win either a Proud Stash or a Ludicrous Debacle? All you have to do is tweet @CrumplerPH a photo of your dying bag along with the hashtag #TheCrumplerTakeOver. Try squeezing in a little story for good measure! For more details, click HERE.

Heritage brand Lyle & Scott presents a selection of reinvented classics that perfectly captures its Scottish roots, better appealing to a more modern, style-savvy market. Its Spring/Summer 2013 collection, called Vintage Summer is inspired by the British Youth Casuals Culture during the mid 80's and perfectly complements the brand's contemporary aesthetic.

Offering more than just the usual collared shirts and other preppy basics befitting of the modern gentleman, Lyle & Scott continuous to tap into the more fashion forward sentiments of today's more style conscious individuals through a more sophisticated approach to casual wear.

Hence, its Spring/Summer 2013 collection is filled with pieces in a more eye-catching palette and in styles that are perfect for everyday wear.

Key pieces from Lyle & Scott's Vintage Summer collection include lightweight color blocked parkas, bold striped polos, flecked jacquard knits, and pastel marl sweatshirts - all showcasing fun twists on popular classics.

Complementing these highly-wearable pieces is the brand's Spring/Summer 2013 color palette that is very much reminiscent of the 80's like bold primary colors of Windsor Blue, Fern Green, Spectra Yellow and Red.

These all contrast well with the pastel shades that were all used in the collection like Rosette Pink, Light Blue, and Pastel Yellow while White brings in a delightful freshness into the collection.

For a refreshing take on classic streets, make sure to check out Lyle & Scott's Vintage Summer collection available in General Bonifacio High Street, Bratpack Greenbelt 5, and Bratpack Alabang Town Center.

LOOK LIKE A CEO... NOT! #96 - #MYOH2013

The only time/event of the year where a semi-formal look with flip flops is acceptable is the Make Your Own Havaianas event. The only time I say because as much as I love the idea of working in my Havaianas, I can't. I'm not Willie. I don't own a yacht.

This is what I wore to the media night of #MYOH2013 (Make Your Own Havaianas 2013). I originally wore my "Blue Eagles" Havaianas that night but decided to make the whole look interesting for this shoot with a pop of color from the other pair I made. Mas bagay daw sabi ni Robby Carmona.
Ray-Ban wayfarers
Basic House blazer
Uniqlo shirt
Lee jeans
Two things that I will never let go from this look no matter how many Bloggers United I'll be participating in are listed numbers 6 and 7 respectively on F*ck Yeah Menswear's 11 Essentials.

No.6 is this navy blazer I bought from Basic House (Yesterday's the opening of their Megamall store —I got the same style in a different color)
Ray-Ban wayfarers; Basic House navy blazer
and No.7 is my eyewear brand of choice
