Greenhills Shopping Center officially welcomed the holidays with its annual Christmas on Display (COD) presentation, which began yesterday, November 15, 2013.

The much-awaited Christmas on Display goes Eastern this year with the theme Christmas In The Orient. It tells the story of a brave woman who volunteers to join the army and sets out to defend her country against the invaders. Think Mulan.

The Greenhills Shopping Center is now on its 11th year of putting up a stunning show for the kids of San Juan. Its beginnings can be traced back to the COD Department Stores in Cubao. The masterpiece is conceptualized and executed by the Manila COD Team, led by Mr. Alex Rosario, who owned the COD Department Stores.

Cathy Casares-Ko, General Manager of Greenhills Shopping Center says, "It brings us great pleasure to see different people of four different ages gather here in Greenhills and watch the Christmas show we have been putting up for the past decade."

Four hundred kids from the Department of Social Welfare and Development - San Juan and White Cross enjoyed the afternoon filled with fun and games and were treated with front row seats as they watch the Christmas on Display show. In line with its oriental theme this year, dragon and lion dancers entertained the kids along with several cosplayers.

Greenhills Shopping Center remains to be a prime destination for people looking for delicious food, entertainment, and bargain shopping in Metro Manila. This Christmas season, patrons of the shopping center will truly feel the season as it put up its Christmas Night Market (November 16, 2013 to January 5, 2014) and Christmas Bangketa Fair (November 15, 2013 to January 5, 2014).

Everyone can enjoy Christmas on Display for free starting today, November 16, until January 5, 2014. The show runs everyday with each show running for approximately 15 minutes, from 6:30pm until 11:00pm.
