NICHKHUN VISITS MANILA TO PROMOTE BENCH

Nichkhun returns to Manila to endorse retail giant Bench.

The Thai-American heartthrob, famous for his role as singer and rapper of Korean idol group 2PM, is excited to reunite with his Filipino fans--this time as a Global Benchsetter.

Fans will get a chance to see Bench's charming global endorser up close, when he visits Bench stores at Trinoma and SM Mall of Asia tomorrow, November 9. As Bench's first and only Thai-K-Pop star, Nichkhun can't wait to express his love for the brand and share it with his fans.

Here are some photos from his earlier campaign for Bench:
California-born and educated in Thailand, New Zealand, and the United States, Nichkhun's rise to stardom began when he was scouted in Los Angeles by Korean producer Park Jin Young—the man behind one of Korea's most successful music agencies and hits such as "Nobody" by the Wonder Girls. Fluent in Thai, English, Korean, Nichkhun has made a mark in the fast-growing wold of K-Pop. His skills in dancing, singing, rapping, modeling, and acting have elevated him to a spot in the limelight along with Korea's brightest stars. In addition to performing onstage, he has appeared in Korean TV shows and starred in movies shot in Japan, Thailand, and China. He even served as an ambassador for the Tourism Authority of Thailand. His global endorsements cover a wide range of products such as clothing, shoes, accessories, food, gadgets, and cosmetics.
Last March, when he was in Manila for 2PM's What Time is it Global Tour, the young star candidly answered questions from the Philippine press. He proudly spoke about how excited he was to be part of the Bench family and how his partnership with Bench was a match made in heaven, because the clothing line reflects his own personal fashion sense. He loves how pieces from Bench are comfy, durable, and easy to mix and match.
There's more to Nichkhun than boy-next-door charm. Onstage, he is a powerful performer. As a member of 2PM—referred to as Korea's "beastly idols," for their strong masculine image—Nichkhun, strikes the perfect balance between pretty boy looks and a hunky, well-built physique. His ability to embrace the best of multiple culture makes him an excellent spokesperson for the globally expanding Bench brand.
