I've been lusting over Pharrell's Timbs ever since I laid eyes on it on gq.com. No longer just a prototype (from its debut on Pharrell's feet last summer), these boots are gonna be made available to the public sooner than you think.
The limited-edition boots come in the same saturated red leather, finished off with tonal hardware and a translucent outsole and two lace options: candy-red or Timberland's traditional brown and yellow. And in case onlookers don't know these aren't the usual Timbs, the boots come with a Bee Line embroidered hang tag.
Priced at $250, the collaboration between Bee Line for Billionaire Boys Club and Timberland will be made available 17th of August, exclusively at the BBC New York flagship store.
Its online release will be the day after the 17th, that is (as GQ predicted), if there will be any boots left. Now, lucky me, got to feel the hardware of a similar boot (if not, the exact) several months back when Timberland had its local relaunch at the East Wing of Shangri-La Plaza.

Like what I said, very similar.

Timberland also presented its Spring 2014 Footwear and Apparel collections on a makeshift dock as a runway but since the brand just released its 2014 Fall collection, this may no longer be relevant. But just the same, here are some photos from the event.

"We created the Spring 2014 collection for men and women whose lifestyles demand versatile, great looking fashion, blending our heritage aesthetic with lightweight and stylish designs," said Oliver Castro, President - Ecopath Corp, Timberland Philippines. "We merged classic cuts with bright colors and prints that are evocative of spring and summer journeys to waterfront towns and outdoor spots. The materials we selected are all practical for the time of the year —breathable and agile, ideal for traveling in style and comfort."

Timberland also introduces its new SensorFlex technology, featuring lightweight performance footwear that offers all-day comfort tat every bend.

"The launch of our new SensorFlex technology in the Spring 2014 collection will empower consumers to find lightweight, on-season footwear that fits their style and that can perform, too," said Roger Py, Operations Manager of Ecopath Corp., Timberland Philippines. "Whether it's a change in the conditions or terrain, the new SensorFlex technology will keep men and women on the straight and narrow - even on the most uneven surfaces."

More about SensorFlex and Timberland's Fall 2014 collection on my next Timberland post. In the meantime, like Timberland Philippines on Facebook and follow @TimberlandPH on Instagram and Twitter.
