You won't usually see me in my casuals on most days of the week. Especially on work days when I meet up with clients, presentations, pitches, and the like (aka doing non blog-related stuff). But on rare instances you'll do... well, surprise! I usually go all out.
Trying out the bun for the first time.
Jeans, t-shirt, cardigan, boots and hair tied up in a bun (just this one time) is my idea of casual. Facial hair: optional.

Also, optional: the day of the week I'd choose this look over my blazers and button-downs. It's not just for Fridays (thank God), you know.
Like this one Monday when I met up with a client at TGIFriday's TriNoma.
River Island mesh cardigan
River Island t-shirt
Everything went well.
River Island denim jeans
Dr. Martens 'Con-Gress' boots
And so was the snacking that followed.
This is fast becoming my favorite drink at TGIFriday's! Chili Pineapple Mojito.
Cocktails and these not-so-light appetizers at 4:00 in the afternoon? Why not?
Potato Skins = the bomb!

If casual's for looks, then the perfect cooking counterpart for it is grilling. Now, who's up for some barbecue this weekend?

If you're looking for the "real deal" when it comes to meals at TGIFriday's, then the new American BBQ selection's the one for you!
