It's time! (And let me add, finally!)

Casio opens doors to its first G-Factory Premium Store in the country!

Just the 2nd of its kind in the world, the G-Factory Premium store will carry G-SHOCK's premium watch line along with other CASIO watches.

But before I let you in on the premium watch line the store carries (it deserves a separate post), allow me to share to you some snaps from the launch which was held last September 29, 2015 at Greenbelt 5.

Still need costume ideas for this weekend's Halloween celebration? Here's an idea: pair a joggers and a pullover (layering is strongly encouraged), wear your freshest kicks, and anyeong-haseyo your way as a K-Pop artist.
H&M pullover
Topman joggers
Asics sneakers

G-Shock watch
A good pair of sneakers is very vital because Koreans love to walk. At least in my observation over the short period of time I stayed in their country. Having their kind of climate probably motivates them too and if there are two things I learned about Koreans when it comes to their preference with sneakers, it'd be style and function.

It's not everyday that I'm "inspired" to dress up. There are days when you just have it, or you don't. On days that I don't, I sometimes start by matching my shoe with something other than what I'm actually gonna wear (like accessories) in order for me to build up a look.

Take this peg, for example.

Obviously, my People footwear and Herschel bag were a perfect match.

The Vancouver-based brands teamed up for the 'Fashion Punctuation', which happened last October 3, 2015 at the Alabang Town Center to celebrate its Canadian roots and commitment to create quality products. The event also extended the statement of how undeniably versatile each brand's goods are through an afternoon full of fashion, expression and creativity.

The event featured 12 different fashion styles that one can surely identify with; these styles are topped off with the "punctuation" of the perfect pair of People footwear and Herschel bag, just like ending a well-written sentence - all of which are craftily displayed through very Instagram-worthy flat lays.

Autumn looks dreamy in photos, no? But don't be fooled by the illusion of warmth and comfort which the colors red, gold, and brown promise because in reality, the temperature falls in Fall.

But why bother with the cold when the cold doesn't bother you anyway (forgive me) when the end result of your game with Hypothermia are Instagram-worthy photos? Ganyan tayong bloggers eh.

A wise friend (Hi Sarah Tirona!) once told me that the camouflage print is classic. It will never go out of style. This was her response when I asked her if it's just a trend some couple of years ago. Every cool people I know was wearing the print back then.

And true enough, Italian-inspired watch brand Veloci embraces the immortal trend with the launch of its Holiday timepieces.

Who would've thought that I just needed a quick trip to South Korea to bring back the "drive" I somehow lost in blogging. If you've noticed, I've been diverting much of my social media presence on Instagram (follow me! @paultheprguy) these days. But that's about to change because I promised myself to make an effort to blog as regularly as possible. After all, I started as a blogger. Now, I'm back!
I have South Korea to thank because the country is just inspiring!

"Paris has Toulouse Lautrec, London's got Wigan. That's the nom de nib of Mr. Mark Williams -an artist who poser packed drawings immortalise the murky menagerie of late night hipsterdom"

You would already know what to expect from this collaboration between Dr. Martens and Mark Wigan from this statement alone.
Mark Wigan is one of the UK's most influential graphic artists. He creates social and cultural hieroglyphs for our time. His vivid landscapes team with schematic figures, neon skeletons, boss eyes, wiggy antenna, plants, totemic forms and Jungian ark of hybrid creatures which form intricate patterns within a techni-colour chaos of paint.
For AW15, Dr. Martens have collaborated with Wigan to create a collection including both footwear and accessories. They wanted to work with Mark due to his unique take on club and youth culture, depicting diversity, fashion, music and the cultural melting pot which has always celebrated self-expression, style and identity which is as relevant now as it was back in the day and rings true to the values if the brand. Mark Stands for "Drawing Inspiration from Music".
The collection includes 6 footwear styles in three different prints and a nylon backpack. For both the white and black Buffalo style Padded Collar 6-Eye Boot and the 3-Eye 8053 Shoe, Wigan has created prints exclusively to Dr. Martens. These unisex styles carry his signature on each tongue and an array of unique graphics. 'In Full Global Effect' is printed on the quarter panel of the boot, which neatly summarises Wigan's fascination with the colourful world of clubs and night-life.
For the 8-Eye Core Print Pascal Boot and Core print 1461 3-Eye Shoe, a segment of one of Wigan's original paintings from a Soho nightclub in the 1980s has been printed on the new Multi Kaboom Softy T leather. Wigan intended the brash detail of his art to disorientate clubbers with its hectic, neon patterns.
For 'Party People' 8 eye boot and 3 eye shoe black and white line drawing feature high profile characters from the Wag Club in the 1980s, such as Vivienne Westwood, Andy Warhol, Stephen Jones, Lee Bowery and Steve Strange has been applied to Softy T-Leather. Reminiscent of Buffalo style's monochrome fascination but also of alternative graphic novels and cartoon culture.

If we had four seasons in the Philippines, Fall would have to be my favorite. But since we don't, then wet season it is. Good thing Korea (and Japan!) is just a mere four hours away from our country making it accessible for sentimental people like me to experience the whole drama that is Fall.
Incheon International Airport looks gloomy but still magnificent in the Flint Blue afternoon.
I also like the colors that are associated with the season and for its Fall/Winter 2015 collection, I think Urbanears captured the mood perfectly. Here's the latest from Urbanears and a sneak peek at my first day in South Korea aka how-I-managed-to-link-the-two-together.

Anyeong-haseyo! I'm back from South Korea! I have good memories (I actually fell in love with Seoul) from this trip and just like the previous ones before this, I can't wait to share it with all of you. Of course, in my blog's perfect time. Haha. I still have unpublished stories from the last four countries I visited this year but there's a big chance that I'll feature this one first. Maybe.

My first day was spent surrounded with the first signs of Autumn in Incheon. The changing colors of the leaves actually complimented my Edinburgh Weekend Warrior bag which arrived just in time for my trip. Talk about perfect timing!
The Edinburgh Weekend Warrior retails at Php3,500
