Before anything else, let me just clarify that I wasn't invited to the launch of Human Nature's first concept store in Quezon City. It was more of like I found a way for them to invite me through my friend Ruth who posted THIS photo on her Facebook wall. I was initially attracted by the Theo & Philo chocolate which I have been meaning to get my hands on to ever since I heard Bestie raving about how good it was! Yes, I was in for the chocolate ladies and gentlemen. Me and my ulterior motive! Little did I know that by going to this event, I was in for a life changing experience…

Now I live in Don Antonio Heights and everytime I go home I always pass by Human Nature's office and the site where their flagship store is now located. Designed by young, talented Filipina architects, Mau Adraneda and Joyce Angara, what was once an ordinary building structure was transformed into a unique, beautiful and amazing concept store located at the northern part of the metro, Quezon City. Once inside, it's like being in an enchanted forest in the midst of a concrete jungle. I'll let the following photos do the talking...

Now how do you like the store's homey and very clean setup? It not only boasts of its 100% made in the Philippines and 100% free from harmful chemicals and affordable organic products but they also offer the following as well in support to the other world-class Filipino Social Enterprises by providing them a venue to showcase their idea of a first world Philippines!
Cafe de Sug - Gawad Kalinga's famous coffee from Sulu - only for the brave!
Theo & Philo Chocolates - the only 100% bean to bar Filipino artisan chocolate
Filbambu food products - all food containing bamboo, winner in the Shanghai Expo
Aside from your favorite natural and organic personal care products from Human Nature, the store also houses Golden Eggs (salted eggs without the toxic color), Enchantea (healthy Iced tea from GK Enchanted Farm), Jacinto & Lirio (luxury bags made from leather and water Hyacinth), Red Carpet, Blue Bamboo, Salabatea and more!

Of course there was a short program where Human Nature's President, Anna Meloto - Wilk, gave an inspiring talk and shared the background of the company and how it lives as a social enterprise by being PRO-PHILIPPINES, PRO-POOR and PRO-ENVIRONMENT.

The Theo & Philo guy! Sorry for the bad photo. I love your chocolates though.
We were served with these best tasting organic spread in the whole world! (I'm not exaggerating) Now who says that healthy can't be that yummy?

Now one of the reasons why I really like going to events where most of the attendees are female is for the lack of male competition. Hehe. But seriously, I tend to get shy when I'm surrounded by the ladies. I'm planning to have a fallback career in photographing women, and if I want to be successful, I might as well get used to being around them and I think the launch of Human Nature's flagship was the perfect avenue for me to practice my "clicking" skills.

Here are the ladies of the blogosphere who went to the store opening of Human Heart Nature...
Ruth of Ruthilicious
Jane of The Philippine Beat
Sydney Go of Chinadoll Style
Helen of Lucky Citrine
Jes Roque of Make Up Love
Eva Arce of Manila Makeup
And here are more beautiful ladies, this time from Human Nature...
Sara Brillantes
PR & Marketing Executive, Reby Baldoz

Sisters Camille Meloto and Anna Meloto - Wilk, Human Heart Nature Creative Director and President (respectively)
The Human Heart Nature brand is something I'm very familiar with (thanks to all those blog reviews) BUT never got the chance to try because
a.) I thought it's expensive because of its 100 percent organic nature
b.) its availability and
c.) very limited offerings for the male market.
Now that we can cross out items a and b and that I've been told that Human Nature is working on expanding its product line to the male market, I think it's time for us Filipinos to assess if the products that we are using/consuming on a daily basis has positive repercussions to the country's economy or if it will benefit the Earth in the long run.

By the way, we were given Php500 worth of Gift Cards which we can use to buy anything inside the store. And by anything, that includes chocolates! Of course with the amount of goodies that I want to take home with me, Php500 was just not enough! That's why I shelled a couple of hundreds more to make my Human Nature experience all worth it. I can always drop by anytime my Cafe de Sug and hand sanitizer runs out though…

Here's what I got:
Human Nature Spray Sanitizer (Citrus Burst) and Sunflower Oil
Golden Eggs
Theo & Philo Green Mango & Sea Salt chocolates
More Theo & Philo and Filbambu goodies
Cafe de Sug!
The Human Nature flagship store is located at 460 Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City.
